I have been thinking lately of friends. Jetty and I went to high school graduation this past weekend. A speaker was recalling his years growing up with his classmates and it made me think about my own childhood friends along associated with school. We seemed to have moved every three to four years so I did not have a chance to develop childhood friends. The move was another city and a new school. I have friends from high school that I see occasionally but not often. Friends are good to have.

I recently reconnected with some friends and it was nice to talk about how much we missed each others company and reminiscing. I am fortunate to now have my best friend with me. Jetty's move to NC as been great and we are enjoying our new experiences with each other.

The move went well. We did a lot of climbing stairs on Friday and part of Saturday. We got a late start out of ATL but arrived later that evening. We had the truck unloaded in less then two hours on Sunday morning.

Jetty has been unpacking boxes and working in the garden the past few days. She got to experience a bad storm last night. We had 4.5 inches of rain in about 45 minutes that created some wicked flash floods. The garden looks great.

It has been really nice to have our wishes and dreams come true. Experiencing the time together as been great but we are really looking forward to the wedding in September.

The exercising as been great and Jetty has been very supportive. She even has been getting up early in the morning with me. It is nice. We drink coffee, read the paper and watch the news. It is great.
