Today is a big day for the two of us. Today is Jetty's last day at her job. We have a few busy days ahead of us. We will be glad when all the traveling as stopped.

My working out as been good. I see a trainer twice a week and do cardio the other days. In a week or two I will begin strength training with two days of cardio. Larger muscles burn more energy = weight lose.

I have been pretty busy this past week. For three or four nights me and my neighbor were building a shed that I had bought. With the house being so old, there is just not a lot of closet or storage space for one person and soon there will be two (.5 also)

I meant to blog about this yesterday but a late day work and errands to run made my evening for relaxing...somewhat. Now to throw some numbers at you. There is now one hundred and twenty two days before the wedding. Eight days before I fly to Atlanta and help Jeanette along with Angel move to N.C. Eleven days she will be a resident of N.C. Though we are sharing our lives right now. We can eliminate the three hundred and fifty miles of I-85 that takes five hours to drive.

I got up early and went to the gym this morning. Since my return to working out, I have realized other benefits that I was missing out as well as better physical health. The routine of sleep, good eating habits and an overall positive disposition as create a new me kind of feeling. I have been feeling energetic and clear headed. My focus and attention are better....enlightened perhaps

Jeanette will be here in two weeks and change will come again. We have routines and habits that have developed due to the distance in our relationship. We will be able to abandon those and learn new ones together. The driving will stop and we will be able to share the week in addition to the weekend. I really look forward to this new stage in my life.

The garden is doing well. If the state fair had ribbons and awards for weeds (not that kind silly gopher), I would take first place. Half of the garden is a variety of vegetables and the other half is all weeds.

The gopher is indicating that I am in the middle of Jordan Lake which is located near Raleigh. I am work near High Point. I should just delete the widget.

I have driven fourteen tomato stakes in the ground and still need to install a few more. With the recent rain all the produce is doing well. A deer did step on one of heads of lettuce and it looks as if a steam roller had its way with it. I could wah it off and make some wraps with.

Google has a new service called Latitude. Introducing Google Latitude I have not really found a good reason to have it unless I get kidnapped by aliens and they take me somewhere on Earth

Another one as come and gone...Life is great!

After the snake incident, I watch where I walk now!

Jeanette and Angel were here this past weekend and of course I was concern for their well being. I think they will be watching the yard as well. Angel is still not accustom to the guineas that occasionally come into the yard. She actually trotted after them on Saturday and Sunday there was another showdown that ended with me picking her up and bringing her back over to where we were. It was actually pretty funny but chickens (if that is what they are) can be defiant...so can Angel! We are really gearing up for the move to the Summit and of course our wedding in September.

The garden is coming along great and the rain tonight will speed that up as well!

I almost step on this little guy! In wass in the yard about at the same place the black snake was.
I think that it is a copperhead. Yes I shot it!
