tarnish

Well the time is coming soon for us to place our votes and welcome in a new President.
It appears to me at time the politicians are so far removed from what the citizens are really experiencing and feeling. No I have not called or written my local congress person....I guess maybe that I expect them to know. At least I will vote and I guess that is all that matters at this point. I really wish there was a third party present.

So much to do this weekend. Friday is Late Night with Roy at Chapel Hill, high school football with my classmates from 25 years, state fair, UFC, invitation to a Halloween Party!, Sunday football. We will probably make some decisions tonight with what we are going to do.

shine so bright that the moon welcomes you!

So things change like the wind around me. Instead of my girlfriend coming over this weekend, I ended up down south. It was great has usual. We went to another mall...I think that is the third mall that I have been to in Atlanta. We were going to see a movie but we missed the start time. It worked out well though. I have been talking about getting some boots and she took me to the place called Horsetown. It was pretty cool and I got some cowboy boots also.

This week hopefully will not be has crazy as last week when I had to work 3rd shift. I work 2nd this week. Hope all of you are doing well!

Wow...it seems so long ago when the garden looked like this.
This weekend we will be uprooting all of the spring/summer plants. The fall/winter plants are doing pretty good.
I will do a before and after shot this weekend.

vampire

up all night ...sleep all day!
Cheap 80's hair band lyrics but anyway that is what I have been doing for the past two nights. Working 3rd...one more night and it will be all over. I guess with a slight promotion at work I will have to take the lumps.

I did not get much sleep today. Hopefully later will be better.

Ok so my promise to blog everyday failed....at least you are not paying for my services!
We had a great time. We went to Myrtle Beach, S.C. then we headed north to D.C.
We walked for days seeing a great deal of history within the Smithsonian museums.
The monuments were grand has well. We were able to visit for the first time the Vietnam memorial monument and also the World War II memorial monument. We walked to a all of the other sights also.

In your comments please leave me a note of your most important vacation that you have enjoyed.

Thanks

friday

Greeting Kids,
The drive was ok. Traveling on the highway always makes me think that there should be a national driving etiquette handbook. It is amazing of how many people drive in the left lane twenty mph's under the posted speed limit. Speaking of driving, we will be leaving in about a hour on our world tour.

Post to you later

What a great weekend we had!
This week should be just has grand!
I am going to try and post everyday starting on Friday along with a picture.

My clan expanded this week with the birth of Eli.
He is a very pretty baby.

Speaking of clans...this is the weekend that my family (clan) have been gathering for the past three years but with Eli's arrival plans have been changed...somewhat!

We will still have the Barnett Bash this year but there will be a low attendance due the arrival of Eli...he is so special! He will be there next year.
We will carry the torch to MBSC. The tradition will not fail and the torch will light a cigar in honor of Eli!

Move forward my friends and family in happiness so together we will shine!
