18, 250 = eighteen thousand two hundred fifty

Fifty sounds like such a small number. Well the rapper 50cent is huge...I guess.
Growing up 50 was huge. Count to 50, save two quarters and 50 was half way to 100 which s a very monumental number. But lets give fifty a chance tonight. Tonight...this night 50 was grand.

My Aunt Brenda and Uncle Buck celebrated 50 years of marriage. Yes it is true... I saw the pictures. There was my mom at the sweet age of fifteen watching her older sister getting married.

Marriage is a wonderful union when the correct parties are involved. My own marriage was short but I realized in that time span that it does take two for a life long partnership not 1.5 I see that love really has to be the driving force. It would be really hard to fake love for 18,250 days in a row. The positive has to be greater then the negative. What can posses two people to live together for so long? I really believe that there has to be some divide guidance and love.

So fifty is grand and so is the life.
In seven years will be fifty!

Peace, Love and ripe tomatoes!

skunk 2

The picture is horriable I know but to the right of the tree and light spot is a dead skunk that I killed.
It was a big one. I have never spelled something so horriable. My neighbor got the frontend loader and dumped a load of manure on it. I guess that I am going to dig it out and put it in a five gallon bucket like the one I killed two weeks ago.
They are a dangerous animal around here. They are known to have rabies i this county.

My cousin Suzy sent me an email asking about my blogging. I guess that I need to step it up a bit. I thought that I only had one reader.

We planted the fall crop two weeks ago. Lettuce, brocolli, two types of radishes, carrots and something else. The tomatoes are still pouring in. It is amazing! I still have two sunflowers left out of probably twenty. Life is good and I am happy! Sorry skunk
